Website and project terms

These terms explain how the Clearwork website and introductory services operate. A project begins only after Clearwork and the client approve a written scope, price and schedule.

Website information

Prices and delivery times shown on the website describe focused starter packages. They are confirmed after Clearwork reviews the requested file, website or workflow. Sample deliverables use fictional information and do not represent client results.

Project scope

The written project scope identifies the deliverables, included revision, responsibilities, schedule and payment terms. Work outside that scope requires written approval and may change the price or delivery date.

Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate information, necessary access and timely feedback. Delivery dates may change when required materials or approvals arrive late.

Payment and cancellation

The $79 and $99 starter packages are paid before work begins. The $149 starter package is divided into a 50 percent start payment and a 50 percent delivery payment. A project-specific written scope controls if its terms differ. Completed work and nonrecoverable expenses are not refundable. Any remaining refund is determined from the work completed when cancellation is received.

Revisions and acceptance

Starter packages include one focused revision requested within seven calendar days of delivery. A deliverable is considered accepted when the client approves it in writing or does not request an included revision within that period.

Ownership and third-party tools

After full payment, the client may use the final project deliverables identified in the written scope. Clearwork retains its preexisting methods, templates and general knowledge. Third-party software, fonts, images and platforms remain subject to their own terms and licenses.

Confidential information

Both parties should use reasonable care with nonpublic business information. Clearwork does not accept regulated health, financial or identity information unless a written agreement establishes appropriate handling requirements.
